Paul Farrugia, a lawyer and tax agent since 1977, has practised in most areas of law. Paul is a partner and now specialises in real estate conveyancing, small business and income tax, heading the firm's taxation department since 2002.
From 1978 to 1984, he lectured part-time in contract and real estate law at TAFE colleges.
Throughout his career, Paul has carried out voluntary work in the community. He is a director of Redfern Legal Centre (which provides free legal assistance to the socially disadvantaged) and of Aftercare (which provides accommodation and other support to people with mental disorders). In recognition of his work with Redfern Legal Centre, he won the Law Society of New South Wales Pro Bono Solicitor of the Year Award in 1993.
